Roadside brake calls, done properly
A brake that won't release can often be safely caged and repaired on the spot; an air leak can usually be isolated and fixed the same visit. What we won't do is hand a truck back with a system we haven't proven. Every air-brake call ends with a build-up and leak-down check so you know exactly where the system stands, and if something still needs a part or a follow-up, it's documented before you drive.
Running a fleet? Air-system wear is predictable — chambers, dryers and adjusters age on a schedule. Folding brake checks into scheduled maintenance visits is the cheapest brake repair there is.

My trailer brakes won’t release — can you fix that roadside?
Usually, yes. Stuck trailer brakes commonly come down to a supply issue, a failed valve, or a spring brake that needs caging and replacement — all workable at the roadside if you're parked somewhere safe. I can hear an air leak. Should I keep driving?
If the compressor holds governed pressure at idle and the leak-down is within limits, you may legally be able to drive — but a leak never gets better on its own. If pressure is dropping toward the 60 psi warning range, stop somewhere safe and call or text. Diagnosing a leak is quick work for us; a low-air emergency on the Malahat is not.
Can you do brake adjustments?
Yes — inspection and adjustment of manual and automatic slack adjusters is routine mobile work. If an automatic adjuster repeatedly needs manual adjustment, that's a failing adjuster or foundation issue, and we'll show you the wear rather than just re-adjusting the symptom away.
Do you replace brake shoes and drums on site?
Foundation brake work — shoes, drums, hardware — is regular yard-call work with the truck safely blocked and the parts on hand. We'll quote the time honestly by text first; parts come from the dealer or brake supplier at their invoice price with zero markup.
